Downtown Company Celebrates 5 Years In Business

Immerge Technologies celebrated its five year anniversary on May 17 – and is celebrating at Earth and Tea Cafe on Thursday June 24 from 5-7pm.   A JMU grad startup company, Immerge has grown into a highly profitable organization, providing web design and custom programming services to hundreds of clients including Harrisonburg Electric Commission and Casterbridge Tours.

Located in the Keezell Building in Downtown Harrisonburg, Immerge has also forged a strong relationship with JMU students to create internships and provides services for many non-profit organizations in the Valley including the Arts Council of the Valley, the Valley Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the United Way.

With their years of experience in online company presentation and appearance, Immerge co-owner William Roy shares his knowledge through numerous Valley SBDC seminars. From employing social media effectively to lowering company costs through technology, William and his staff provide helpful information for the community.

William says, “I have my dream job. Every project is an opportunity to work with new people and produce a solid solution for someone. It’s great to see other businesses and non-profits prosper because of something I have taken part in.”

Justin Creasy, Immerge’s President and lead developer of custom programming, has managed campaigns over the last few years encouraging other tech companies to take part in their community. Because of his extensive work with the United Way, Justin appeared in commercials for their “Live United” campaign on WHSV.

Immerge will be celebrating their 5 years of business at Earth and Tea Café on Thursday June 24, from 5:00 – 7:00pm. If you would like additional information about Immerge Technologies, visit their website at Immergetech.com.
